Reduce CO2 input from wild fires

Fifty percent of lands west of the Rockies are federally owned and frequently mis managed leading to forest and range fires producing thousands of tons of CO2, warming the whole world. Demand that federal agencies improve management to reduce fires.

Why is this important?

Global warming increases with rising CO2 levels in the atmosphere. Especially in the last few years, huge forest and range fires have put thousands of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. Better management of federal lands west of the front range of the Rockies could reduce this threat.
