The PA legislature is one othe biggest and most expensive in the nation. Reducing its size could save enough money to pay for a decent transporation system and' improve infrastructure.
Why is this important?
The PA state legislature is twice the size of any other state legislature. California, with a population of 63 plus million, has 40 senators and 80 houise members, whereas PA, population some 12 million, has 50 senatos and 203 house memers. The state could sav e millions of dollars by cutting the house, at least, by 1/4, When you take into consideration office supplies, staff, healrth care, transporation, you can easily see the savings.
