Reduce Violence - Support Crime Stoppers
To Fund Crime Stoppers of Michigan so that they can increase their reward money offered. We have 2 options available.
1 - To add a donation check off box for $2 on the MI-1040 Tax form so residents can doante $2 to Crime Stoppers.
2 - Start a weekly 50/50 drawing runt through the Michigan State Lottery to pay out 50% of all proceeds taken in to the winning ticket and the other 50% will support Crime Stoppers. Tickets would cost $1 each.
Why is this important?
To increase the award money available for Crime Stoppers to use in Michigan to get violent criminals off the streets, reduce violence and get justice for the victims of violent crimes by giving them some closure. More Financial support will allow for larger rewards to be offered, which will generate more witness input.
