The State of Oregon shall impose a 300% tax on all ammunition, regardless of caliber size, with 250% of said tax going to victim assistance to pay medical, hospital, long term hospitalization, disability, and funeral costs. The remaining 50% will go to State of Oregon gun education programs [not the NRA's] including gun collection and destruction programs.
Why is this important?
Reducing gun violence by increasing the cost of ammunition to reduce the stock piling of ammunition for use in large magazines. Cheap bullets make taking life cheap.
