This amounts to a 550% mark up under the guise of revenue needed. I have reviewed the budget and the revenue line item is $10,000 which amounts to 100 clickers. They can easily make up $5,000 based on the snow removal services not required this year as they have budgeted over $58,000 for Jan., Feb., March, and December. So at most we will spend half of that if we have significant snow in March and December.
Why is this important?
The HOA Board is penalizing families with a "vehicle tax" of $100 for clickers needed greater than 2. These clickers cost the HOA $18.31.
