Reform Congressional Health Care Benefits
Pass a law denying government sponsored health care benefits to all members of the United States Congress, and force them to pay for and manage their own health insurance like all other American families.
Why is this important?
My health care insurance is too costly, inadequate for my needs, and poorly managed by the provider. Members of Congress have made a political fight out of Health Care Reform, because they don't have to deal with the consequences. All U. S. House Members, Senators and their dependents get free and complete health care for life, paid for with our tax dollars, even after they leave office. If Congress members had to deal with the same health care chaos and inflated medication prices as all other Americans, they would be well motivated to improve the system for everyone.
