I Believe that home values be based on cost of construction today less depreciation and Banks and Appraisers end any collusion or any influence to fix housing prices.
Why is this important?
The petition is to get action to end the collusion between the Bank and mortgage appraisers. Homeownership is not a supply and demand item it is a durable good and should be valued as such based on the cost of construction today less depreciated value. I just built a home for 200K and it appraised @50
