Support an amendment to the Constitution that (1) eliminates corporate personhood, (2) caps corporate, individual, and PAC contributions, and makes disclosure mandatory, (3) requires redistricting to follow a standard formula applied by nonpartisan, independent commissions, (4) drops all but the basic i.d. requirements for voting, and (5) eliminates the electoral college.
Why is this important?
My petition would take several steps to clean up the federal election process so that one man, one vote actually means what it says. The current process is corrupted by corporate and private money, by political redrawing of election district lines, by voting restrictions and by the existence of the electoral college.
