@@Reform the Filibuster Now!
The Unemployment Benefit Extension has been blocked by a Republican Filibuster. No doubt the same thing will happen to a Minimum Wage Increase. The voters can't tell who is on their side when the media reports that these bills have "died in the Senate". In order to hold the Republicans accountable, and to show the American people that the Democrats are on their side, it is imperative that you support further reform of the filibuster.
Why is this important?
We cannot continue to allow a Progressive Agenda to be "stalled in the Senate" by Republican obstruction or negotiated away by Democratic leaders seeking "bipartisan compromise". We must urge our Senators to support this critical reform today.
