Regulate Cannabis Like Alcohol
1) Repeal Title 16, Chapter 47, ยง 4764 and all subsequent laws in regards to the possession, use, sale, and cultivation of cannabis (marijuana).
2) Adopt a system of regulation for this non-toxic plant, in manner similar to alcohol, allowing adults 21 and older to possess, use, purchase, sell, and cultivate cannabis.

Why is this important?
Cannabis prohibition is negatively effecting our communities, including contributing to Delaware's violence epidemic, while police manpower and resources are being diverted to non-violent cannabis possession arrests. Delaware can't afford this costly, unscientific based policy, ($13.2 million wasted annually just on possession arrests.) Colorado's tax revenue has significantly increased, they created many jobs, & their crime rate has decreased since regulation. It is time to bring the jobs and money back to Delaware.
