President Clinton passed the Federal Law that bans Assault weapons & high volume cartridge magazines for these weapons.
This Federal Law was allowed to expire under President George W. Bush. Nobody except Law Enforcement & our Military should have access to this type of rapid fire, high velosity & mass automatic reload weapon. A regular citizen such as the Aurora Movie Theater Killer has no business being able to purchase this type of weapon LEGALLY because this type of weapon is not necessary for home/personal protection OR for sports hunting. THIS LAW AFFECTS ALL OF US, ESPECIALLY OUR CHILDREN.
