Reject the Budget

The budget proposed by this Administration is not a starting point for negotiations. We cannot negotiate away the State Department to save the EPA. We cannot pay for one more F-35 jet when the cost of just one would fund PBS for 159 years. The border wall, which would cost $21.6 billion, would fund more than 650,000 full-ride four-year college scholarships.

54% of discretionary funding already goes to defense and the U.S. military is the strongest in the world - bar none. We cannot endlessly pay for war by reducing funding for education, health, kids and senior citizens; it will leave us with nothing worth protecting.

This budget does not put any Americans first. It must be rejected immediately and completely.

Why is this important?

The U.S. military is already the strongest in the world - bar none. We spend more on defense than what the next seven nations spend on defense combined. We cannot continue to bankrupt our domestic communities or diplomacy programs to pay for war.
