To: The United States House of Representatives
release unemployment funds
Legal extended unemployment funds have been denied thousands of Americans to whom they were due at Christmas time. At that time, Congress failed to release these mandated benefits to the jobless across the country, many of whom are veterans.
But since then the Senate has voted to approve the release of funds. There is a similar Republican bill pending in the House, but it needs House support and the leadership to move it to a vote so the President can sign the bill.

Why is this important?
Many job seekers are without funds and have had to borrow from family or friends to survive. Many cannot pay rent or mortgages, and back debts mount. But, more importantly this is a failure to the thousands of job seeking Americans ( including a high percentage of veterans )who are legally due these funds.
The money has been set aside and when released it will immediately flow back into the economy.
