Why is this important?
Current LUSD Superintendent April Leiferman is very unfit to serve OUR community and OUR children at Lakeport Unified. Given the recent events with her and the board, the parents, students, and community are DEMANDING Mrs. Leiferman turn in her resignation immediately! It's time OUR children come before their personal vendettas!
Between the mismanagement of school bonds, where millions extra were spent on a kitchen when the board promised tax payers a new, safe pool for our children, to over 50% of OUR dedicated career teachers just up and resigning due to April Leiferman and now April has WRONGLY fired a beloved Principal that OUR children NEED and WANT. Not only did the school board back April in the termination and false accusations, they ALL helped her potentially RUIN Mrs Paarsch's career in education.
We need to remind Dennis Darling, Tom Powers, Lynn Andre, Lori Holmes and April Leiferman that they WORK FOR US!
Vote Darling and Powers out November 6th and support our petition for April Leiferman's resignation NOW.
