Removal of cannabis from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act

In light of the current election results for legalization of marijuana and Trump, it is recommended Mr. Obama immediately use his authority to de-schedule Marijuana. This is removal of cannabis from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act just like alcohol and nicotine are not scheduled. 29 States now have laws concerning Marijuana. The FDA and CDC attest there are no direct deaths related to marijuana. Zero. Further action can be added by congress as needed. Force the action.
Polling by most organizations show 55 to 60% of the population supports legalization/decriminalization of marijuana. More than 8 States have recreational use legalized now. There is no lethal reason for criminalization and all legalization efforts have not shown an increase in use or any real dependency or adverse acts versus what is already in Society absent debate.
Marijuana/Cannabis should be an herbal medicine/supplement. Not a drug or evil substance as is drawn out in law and lore.

Why is this important?

Current Election Results and Mr. Obama leaving office.
