Remove 13 month Internet Cap on Eye Gaze Technology for ALS Patients

Please provide support for HR 628, the Steve Gleason Act of 2015, so that ALS patients can have internet access with their Eye Gaze technology and not wait 13 months when many do not have 13 months to wait.

Why is this important?

We need this law so ALS patients who on average have 2-3 years to live after diagnosis can use the Internet, which becomes their contact to the outside world. The machines with Eye Gaze technology will give patients access to the Internet, their family, and the world.
