Remove Breitbart News from Facebook
Breitbart News is an extreme right wing organization that produces deliberately deceptive fake news and attempts to discredit legitimate news organizations like the New York Times in order to dissuade people from accessing accurate information. This can easily be demonstrated by fact-checking any of the articles published on Breitbart News. Breitbart is one of Facebook's biggest sites. We want Mark Zuckerberg to make good on his pledge to fight fake news by banning Breitbart News from Facebook.
Why is this important?
Breitbart News is one of the main engines of disinformation that propelled Trump to victory. The head of Breitbart News, Steve Bannon, is now the White House chief strategist. Breitbart relies on Facebook to gather information, target users, and disseminate it's fake news.
