Remove Confederate Statues in Alabama
This petition is aimed towards the Leaders of our state. The Confederate Statues were created during an age where these men were being celebrated. Racism and Hatred should never be celebrated. These monuments do not represent history that should be celebrated....these monuments stand for the very principles the Confederacy turned traitor against the United States of America. These monuments need to be removed.....destroyed, taken to museums, confederate cemeteries, etc.
Why is this important?
Minorities across the nation are being targeted by extremist terrorists called Neo-Nazis, White Nationalist, White Supremist, KKK, etc. These groups use the symbols from the Confederacy to promote supremacy, hate, and violence towards fellow Americans. These monuments must not be allowed to stand in public view.
