Remove Jim Happ from Freedom School Board

Jim Happ should be removed from Freedom School Board. Jim Happ ran for school board with agendas not in the best interest of children. His campaign was a vendetta run. A story was released that Jim had previously stolen from youth organizations. This unfortunately was released on election eve with receipts to prove it but not enough time to impact people’s decisions on Election Day. This isn’t the only occurrence with Mr Happ. He has quite a history of inappropriate conversations with students at Freedom High School. A grown man that was banned from locker rooms of the school because he inappropriately spoke of a student athlete’s anatomy in the locker room. I would like to say that the locker room conversation was the end of Mr Happ’s involvement of student activity. Unfortunately, it was dealt with by a slap on the wrist . The list of infractions, misconduct, and misappropriations of the children’s money is very lengthy by this person. On Jan 5th, 2024 I have decided to speak up and call out to our community to remove this person to protect our children. My son came home from working a school tournament telling yet another story of Jim Happ. Jim decided that on this day he would berate my son and attempt to publicly humiliate my 16yr old. Jim spoke inappropriately about our family and made false statements about my son to him and his teammates. All of this happened in what should be a safe place for my child, his school. A place that preaches we DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING!! No elected school board member should be speaking to a child and or group of children in such a manner. No child should be BULLIED by an adult especially when adults are the ones who should be setting the example for them. I ask for you all to stand up for the children of this community and put an end to his terror over the children. No child should be made to feel unsafe at the presence or words of an adult. Let alone to be made to feel unsafe from a man that is serving as a voice for the children and people of the community. Please ban this man from causing further harm to another child. I am pleading with the people of Conway, Freedom, and New Sewickley please sign this petition to have Jim Happ removed from all school functions at Freedom High School and be removed from Freedom School board immediately. Let’s keep our children safe.
