Allow ALL Americans the right to use clotheslines that will help decrease carbon emissions and conserve energy.
Why is this important?
20% of Americans live in subdivisions that restrict or prohibit the use of clotheslines. I have been trying to get the right to dry for 5 years without success. I continue to be fined for having my clothesline visible. Clothes dryers are the second highest user of residential energy that also contributes to global warming. For the greater good, we all need to be able to conserve by using the simple benign clothesline.
