Our project is called Owl Be Wise and its focus is on spreading awareness of the harmful secondhand effects rodenticide poison has on owls and other wildlife creatures. Our goal is to remove the deadly rodenticide from shelves and also teach people the alternative ways to eliminate rats.
Why is this important?
This is our Girl Scout Silver Award Project and we have seen many stories about owls and other raptors and wildlife die from eating rats that have been poisoned with rodenticide poison.
