Remove Sean Earlen from the New Jersey Pinelands Commission

NJ Pinelands Commissioner, Sean Earlen's appointment ends July 2017. Mr. Earlen's yes vote allowing South Jersey Gas to run a pipeline through the NJ Pinelands violates the Comprehensive Management Plan of the Pinelands Commission. We, therefore, request the Burlington County Board of Freeholders to remove and replace Mr. Earlen from his appointed position.

Why is this important?

Chairman Earlen did not uphold his oath to protect the sensitive NJ Pinelands.
The Pinelands is our nation's first National Reserve, a U.S Biosphere Reserve and protects a 17 trillion gallon fresh water aquifer. The Pinelands Commission is entrusted with its protection. Allowing the pipeline to be constructed through the pinelands, sets a dangerous precedent that cannot be reversed. The pipeline does not protect the sensitive Pinelands.
