The overly powerful door-closers and tall step(s) at the building's entrances make it difficult, impossible, and/or unsafe for many guests and residents to be able to enter the Parsons, WV Post Office (26287). We ask the USPS to stop discriminating against people with disabilities and fix the building making at least one entrance at the 26287 Post Office facility compliant with the United States Federal Government Architectural Barriers Act design code to enable visitors & residents of all physical abilities to safely and independently access post office goods & services.

Why is this important?

Because at least 687 residents in Tucker County reported having disabilities that would make it difficult or impossible for them to safely access their post office and these readily removable physical barriers discriminate against the elderly and persons with disabilities and would be inexpensive to fix.
