Portland City Council and Mayor Keith Wilson should take this opportunity to listen to the people and rename the street after our beloved local author.
Rename Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard after Ursula K. LeGuin
Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard -- aka 39th Street -- needs to be renamed after the revelations about him that came out last year, and we should rename it after our hometown hero Ursula K. LeGuin.
Why is this important?
We need to rename the street anyway, and LeGuin is possibly the least problematic famous human who has ever lived.
