Rent Control in Florida
The State of Florida needs more ordinances in place for price controls on the renting of residential housing.
Not only is Florida's job market stuck in neutral the job growth is relatively flat and the state's unemployment rate is unchanged at 10.6 percent.
Florida, a state which is increasingly divided between the haves and the have-nots -- with one ironic twist: The have-nots are working people, some college educated, many young and starting off. They've played by the rules, but the rules haven't played for them. The cost of rent is high in fact unaffordable.
