As you know, the government shutdown has forced the closure of Yellowstone National Park. Visitors to Yellowstone National Park, including some from Australia and Asia, were turned away at the shuttered gates of the world's first national park on Tuesday. The federal government shutdown is to blame. Other visitors, already staying in the park, were told they had 48 hours to leave.
Why is this important?
My cross-country road trip to visit the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks has been completely ruined because of the shutdown of the national parks. I am a good citizen and a tax payer who is being unfairly punished. Please help us stand up for what is right and sign this petition to reopen Yellowstone National Park.
