Why is this important?
Regardless of one's affiliation, voting rights affects us all. The original Voting Rights Act was seriously weakened by last year's Supreme Court decision. A bipartisan effort is underway to restore important voter protections. Rep. Higgins should co-sponsor and fight for a strong bill.
