Arkansas State Representative Bryan King is leading the charge to make an end run around the Voting Rights Act. I have never heard of a single case of voter fraud in the state of Arkansas. And I have never had to show an ID to vote. I know my poll workers—they're my neighbors and friends, and they know me.
So why try to create these laws now? Rep. King wants to bring polarizing partisan politics to Arkansas. He wants to attack the Democratic base here in our state to further his party's oppressive attack on the middle class and poor.
