The National Rifle Association has contributed large amounts of money to many members of Congress, including House Representative Chris Collins. Rep. Collins has received $7695 in support from the NRA and members of its staff. I call on Rep. Collins to give this money back.

Why is this important?

Our representatives should not be bought out by the National Rifle Association. Each week we see more students slaughtered followed by "thoughts and prayers" as their bodies cool. My friend's child survived Sandy Hook, and our collective hearts our regularly broken in the face of this this senseless, unmatched-elsewhere-in-the-world lack of gun control in the USA. Our children deserve our advocacy.

  • The NRA is an abhorrent entity in effect working and contributing to more violence and gun related deaths. They are bullying and threatening journalists and public figures. This is unacceptable. It is your duty to represent my opinion. I demand you donate NRA’s money and sever ties. I also demand that you bring for discussion the Dicky amendment. We need to have data to make any informed decisions.
