We call on Rosa De Lauro to co-sponsor and work to strengthen the bill that would help to restore the hard won voting rights of U.S. citizens .
Why is this important?
The Voting Rights act was seriously weakened by the Supreme Court last year. The bill that Congress is currently considering would restore some af the key provisions of the act. Representative De Lauro should support this bill.
