The Voting Rights Act of 2014 is vitally important legislation intended to preserve the democratic process. It is imperative that you lend your support to this bill, vote for it and campaign for it on the floor of the House and in the back halls of power.

Why is this important?

Fair voting for all is not only important but a necessary cornerstone of democracy. I'm already deeply terrified for the future of our great nation, but letting this bill fail is a major step towards ensuring a return to segregation and erasure of everything important and progressive this country has ever achieved.
