Why is this important?
"The Voting Rights Act is one of the most important pieces of civil rights legislation that Congress has ever passed. Last year's Supreme Court decision weakened critical pieces of our Voting Rights Act.That which is needed to fix (VRA) can now be restored by Congress by passing this important bill.
