Why is this important?
Student loans are continuing to drown our economy. It is said that the next recession will be due to the student loan debt. Current student loan debt is higher than credit card debt. If student loans are allowed to be included in bankruptcies, money now being spent on monthly payments would be freed up to help grow our economy, which would then get our country out of the current recession.
