I urge you to stand up for our democracy and co-sponsor an amendment to overturn Citizens United and rein in corporate power in our democracy. You were elected to effect change on behalf of the people, not the corporations.
Why is this important?
Unlimited, often secret spending from billionaires and multinational corporations has been a disaster. If we do not act, money will continue to inundate our elections and overwhelm the voices of voters. This corrosive system can result in a government for the highest bidder, rather than of, by, and for the people.
