Why is this important?
Last year's Supreme Court decision weakened critical provisions of the Voting Rights Act (VRA), eliminating important protections for voters across the country. Too many states have weakened access to voting and Federal action is needed. A new bill in Congress can fix the VRA and restore these protections.
