Rep. Roskam, we ask that you support and publicly acknowledge 'the need to raise the minimum wage' so your constituents can put a roof over their head, food on their table, and clothes on their child's back.
Why is this important?
I am a public school teacher and have seen so many of my colleagues/para educators struggle to make ends meet, many have to work a second job. I see many community members come to the food pantry at my church, on a weekly basis.
