“Please cosponsor and fight to improve the Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014”
Why is this important?
I have fought to broaden voting rights in our country for most of my life only to see a Supreme court majority of 5 far right conservatives gut the Voting Rights Act making it easier to deprive American Citizens of their right to vote. Congress can restore these protections by enacting this important civil rights bill. Rep. Cardenas should support this effort by cosponsoring and fighting for a strong bill.
