Repeal Bush's 2004 Act protects manufacturers, distributors, importers from liability for deaths caused by all firearms, including semi-automatic assault weapons. Semi-automatic assault weapons' firing capacity exceeds sporting, and reasonable self protection purposes. Since the harms posed by these weapons outweigh reasonable utility consistent with lawful purposes, semi-automatic assault weapons must be stripped of immunity. Demand Congress act to protect civilians' rights. Manufacturers and sellers of semiautomatic assault weapons must not be immunized from suit by victims and communities for the actual economic costs of devastation caused by their weapons.
Why is this important?
Demand Congress Strip Gun Manufacturers, Distributers of immunity for deaths and injuries resulting from semiautomatic weapons. Bush's law protects profit in the gun trade over victim's rights. Countless future deaths resulting from semiautomatic weapons are foreeable unless we act now.
