To: The Florida State House, The Florida State Senate, and Governor Ron DeSantis
Repeal ObamaRail
We the people of the Great State of Florida do hereby request our elected officials listen to our voices.
We the people oppose spending $66 billion on a statewide network of government rail systems.
We the people have voted twice on government rail projects and both times the collective wisdom of the people rejected this failed public policy.
Therefore, as citizens and taxpayers in the State of Florida we place our signatures on this petition calling for the repeal of “ObamaRail,” or what is legally known as the Florida Rail Enterprise Act of 2009.
We ask that the law be repealed and replaced with a requirement that any government rail system must be approved by the voters along with a dedicated funding source.
Signed in the presence of God and our fellow citizens;

Why is this important?
The single largest government spending project proposed in Florida is the statewide network of passenger rail projects established by our legislature under The Florida Rail Enterprise Act of 2009.
Called “ObamaRail” by many, the stated goal of this project is to “build an alternative transportation system” and to “get people out of their cars”. Florida cannot afford such a system and when allowed to speak out by public referendum, Florida voters have rejected passenger rail projects twice.
We call on all conservative groups to help “Repeal ObamaRail”.
