Repeal the current ban on retail customers from being able to pump their own gasoline. Allow consumers to be able to pump their own gasoline.
Why is this important?
Oregon and New Jersey are the only 2 states that do not allow the motor vehicle consumer to pump their own gasoline. These laws forbidding self-service gasoline are outdated and not sound. There is no constitutional basis to restrict the self servicing of one's gasoline tanks. Repeal these restrictions on Pumping Your Own Gasoline.
