Repeat Sections 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA.
Why is this important?
On January 31, Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act into law. Sections 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA is very dangerous to our freedoms. It allows for the indefinite detention (without trial) of American citizens. It also allows for the military to turn turn America into its battleground. Who can be detained? According to the NDAA, anyone who has"committed a belligerent act [against the United States] or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces.” This language is so vague that it can include those American who are just exercising their constitutional rights of free speech and right of lawful assembly. This is a blatant violation of our Bill of Rights. But we can stop it. We must urge Congress to repeal sections 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA. But we must hurry. The law goes into effect on March 3.
