Inmates should be treated equally. Giving time earned to some convictions and not to all convictions is discriminating against a large number of inmates.
Why is this important?
Some inmates are rehabilitated and should be returned to their community. The aging population of prisoners could be decreased by allowing good time served to be counted toward their sentences.
