Repeal the Second Amendment, which was enacted so that State-controlled militias in the South could bear muskets to keep the slaves in chains. There is no place for this disgraceful amendment in a modern America that wishes to stand on firm moral ground.
Why is this important?
My son attends elementary school in Newark, Delaware, and I do not want to see him suffer the same fate as the Sandy Hook children. Repealing the Second Amendment, shamefully enacted to preserve slavery, will wash away this historical stain and put paid to assault weapons in the hands of mentally- ill gunslingers.
