The SAFE Act is an infringement upon the Constitutionally protected civil liberties of New Yorkers, and should be repealed immediately.
Why is this important?
As a lawful gun owner, I have a right to own firearms based on my own personal preferences, not ones dictated to me by out of touch legislators in Albany. If this law is not repealed, I will have to ship many items out of state, where I will be unable to make use of them, until such time as I am prepared to move out of state with them.
This encroachment on our civil liberties, protected by the United States Constitution, and incorporated against both Federal and State infringement, must not be allowed to stand.
