The Voter ID Law is a useless law that prevents voting by RI citizens.
Repeal the Voter ID law
Why is this important?
The Voter ID Law is contradictory to the Voting Rights Act of 1965. This “act to enforce the fifteenth amendment to the Constitution” was signed into law 95 years after the amendment was ratified. We should not be taking steps backwards, we should be encouraging voting.
