Stop taxing all income and replace our current dysfunctional system with a national retail sales tax, HR 25. We want a full vote by congress now.
Why is this important?
We are all effected by a dysfunctional tax system and there is a bill in congress, HR 25, Fair Tax that would eliminate all federal income taxes and only tax consumption with an effective rate of 9%. Additionally HR 25, Fair Tax would act as a great stimulus to our economy. It will take the efforts of ordinary citizens to get this bill out of committee and on the floor for a vote. Contact members on the House Ways & Means Committee asking them to get this important legislation up for a vote.
