Please cosponsor and vote for the Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014 to protect the right of American citizens to vote.
Why is this important?
The Voting Rights Act is one of the most important pieces of civil rights legislation which opened up the right to vote to many who had been unfairly denied their voice at the polls. It was weakened by last years Supreme Court decision, but now Congress can restore those protections by passing this bill. We ask Rep. Brooks to join this effort by cosponsoring and voting for this bill.
