Dear Congressmen and Senators:
I demand a self-decolonization plebiscite (federally sponsored), with Constitutionally attainable status options for the Americans (U.S. Citizens) residing in Puerto Rico. After more than 115 years been unable to vote for their President (U.S.), and not been able to self-determinate their political status for so long, it is more than enough time to finish this unfinished Democratic business. The People of Puerto Rico lack of sovereignity because it relies on the Congress, this situation has perpetuated a Colonial (slavery ) political status. Let's make JUSTICE to all Americans, including the ones residing in Puerto Rico.
Why is this important?
Because the Americans (US Citizens residing in Puerto Rico have been desinfranchised from their Right to vote for their President (U.S.); the Con gress has never sponsored a decolonizing plebiscite for the People in Puerto Rico since 1898. That is political slavery, where the sovereignity of the People relies on Congress, not on their own People.
