Nearly 400,000 suffer from sudden cardiac arrest each year. And almost 90% don’t survive.
But we have the power to change that by teaching our students CPR before graduation. Bystander CPR can double or triple survival from cardiac arrest. Training of all students before graduation will add a million trained rescuers to the population every few years - making it more likely someone will be ready to help you or a loved one.
Why is this important?
We need a law that requires schools to teach CPR to students. Millions can be saved from cardiac arrest, if more of the public knew CPR.
