Line 5 is an aging 65+ year old twinned 20" pipeline running more than 250' below the Straits Of Mackinac that will spill more oil in the time it will take to shut it down when it ruptures than what line 6B spilled when it ruptured in Marshall, Michigan in 2010, which is over 1 Million Gallons......
Why is this important?
We have watched the impact on the surrounding environment from the Enbridge oil spill in 2010, which changed forever over 40 miles of river through many different communities, only to hope that this will or can never happen to or in The Great Lakes....
